About Lakeland Terriers

Lakeland Terriers are born hunters which gives them characteristics like courage, determination, and intelligence. They can be a bit hard to housetrain like other Terriers due to their stubborn and independent nature, but with the right training techniques, these confident dogs can prove to be one of the smartest breeds. They are charming small-to-medium-sized dogs who tend to dig and bark. They are cheerful and friendly but they need to be trained at an early age not to chase other animals.
