The Olde English Bulldogge shares a lot of physical features of a bull-baiting dog, they are a medium sized dog with a muscular build. Their coats are short and coarse, coming in a variety of colors such as red, fwn, grey and brindle, patches of red, black or black and white. While they may have the aggressive look, they are really a sweet, gentle dog who is loyal to their family. They will enjoy long walk sand even playing games in the yard. They do great with other animals when introduced and socialized early. The Old English Bulldog is eager to please causing them to do well in training exercises.
Origin of the Old English Bulldog
Originating in the 1970s, the Olde English Bulldogge was bred to have the athleticism, look, and health of a bull-baiting dog, but without the aggressive temper. Today they make great companion dogs even working as service dogs.
